Salary Range: $61,147-$81,158 rate is based on degree and experience. Excellent fringe benefits.

JOB SUMMARY: The dental hygiene full-time, temporary instructor (non-teaching) will participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of courses and accreditation of the dental hygiene program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop dental hygiene course and program curriculum and assessments in accordance with Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and SC4 General Education standards.
- Present completed draft dental hygiene course and program curriculum to the SC4 Curriculum Committee.
- Assist Academic Liaison Officer and Chief Academic Officer (CAO) with initial accreditation process in compliance with CODA and HLC accreditation standards.
- Assist CAO in review and implementation of clinical equipment and technology requirements in compliance with CODA standards.
- Assist in the launch of our dental hygiene program.
- Assist the Chief Academic Officer as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Chief Academic Officer
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, master’s degree preferred.
- State RDH license.
- Five years experience as a clinical Registered Dental Hygienist required.
- Two to three years of clinical or didactic teaching experience in a dental hygiene educational program.
- All academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Ability to maintain good relationships with students, staff, and community members.
