 We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the operational performance of our Fabrication department on 1st shift. This position will focus on ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity while leading continuous improvement initiatives and team member development.

• Safety Leadership: Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring adherence to all safety policies, conducting safety tours, and encouraging near-miss/accident reporting.
• Team Management: Maintain a flexible, cross-trained workforce to meet production demand. Collaborate with the Production Trainer to implement training plans and track progress.
• Continuous Improvement: Utilize lean manufacturing tools (5S, one-piece flow, standard work, etc.) to drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Financial Management: Manage labor and material variances, factory burden, and overtime while contributing to budget and capital expenditure planning.
• Supervisor Standard Work: Lead daily huddles, monitor production schedules, approve labor reporting, and audit shop orders and payroll.
• Performance Management: Conduct annual performance reviews, maintain discipline records, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Required Skills

 What We Are Looking For:

• A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role, combined with a minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience.
• Associate Degree in Production Management or related field or equivalent experience. 
• Good understanding of ISO 9001-2015.
• The ability to effectively lead and coach employees. 
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. 
• A goal-driven self-starter
