Spacesaver Corporation is looking for a 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic II to join our team! This role will work 8:00pm to 6:00am and is eligible for our $3.00 shift premium.

As a Maintenance Mechanic at Spacesaver you will be responsible for:

•    Communicate with a positive demeanor to all Spacesaver team members.
•    Perform maintenance-related activities of equipment, buildings, and grounds safely and proficiently.
•    Diagnose and repair complex equipment breakdowns.  When needed, effectively communicate issues with OEM vendors and outside resources for rapid identification and closure of issues.
•    Perform Standard Work by following Work/Operator Instructions/Training
•    Suggest changes to and perform modifications of existing Spacesaver equipment and/or designs to improve safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
•    Perform safe and effective operation of lathes, vertical mills, pipe threaders, conduit benders, hydraulic presses, pneumatic and electric hand tools, material handling equipment, welders, plasma arc & cutting torches.

Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical or associate’s degree or a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintaining industrial equipment (robotics, controls, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical) Experience on equipment and automation consistent with a sheet metal fabrication, and painting operation preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of codes and regulations as they apply to an industrial maintenance role
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics and machine specifications
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, good attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
