POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AEC Operations Support Manager to join our AEC Technologies team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of technology support, vendor management, training and documentation management, and the continuous improvement and user feedback processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology support and a passion for driving efficiency and innovation within the engineering and construction domains.

What you’ll do:

1. Technology Support
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the AEC technology support team and processes.
• Ensure timely and effective resolution of AEC related technical issues and support requests.
• Implement and maintain best practices for AEC technology support and troubleshooting.
• Interface with the broader IT support services team and ensure seamless integration across the department, effectively routing and managing ticket flow between teams where necessary.
• Manage 3^rd party AEC support contract resources and Key Vendors.
• Develop and manage performance metrics across internal and 3^rd party support resources.
2. Vendor Management
• Manage relationships with AEC technology vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure optimal terms and conditions.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Mange the purchasing and renewal process for all AEC technologies teams.
3. Training and Documentation Management
• Work with Internal AEC teams and L&D teams to develop and deliver training programs for staff on AEC technology tools and systems.
• Drive the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for AEC technology processes and procedures.
• Ensure that all AEC training materials and documentation are consistent, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
4. User Feedback and Continuous Improvement
• Lead the continuous improvement process for AEC to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional AEC and IT teams to drive technology enhancements and innovations.
5. Administration/Operational Support for the AEC team
• M&A Support – following up on technical details and consolidating information for AEC leadership to help drive progress on integration activities
• Timesheet Processing - Administration and processing of AEC timesheet data and integration with Corp. finance team.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Strong understanding of engineering and construction technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in technology support, vendor management, and training.
