POSITION SUMMARY

 

 

This is primarily a delivery role, focused on guiding the development, integration, delivery, maintenance, and management of technology solutions through collaboration with CORP IT groups and business leaders. The Lead Solutions Analyst possesses strong expertise in application integrations across systems, expert understanding of the IT environment (i.e., tech platforms, methodology, and capabilities) and in depth understanding of supported business units and their processes.

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • The role focuses on the delivery/implementation of solutions that support the business process while ensuring cross functional support and robust design.
  • Leads the architectural design of applications, and integration platforms, and data structures.
  • Coordinates systems analysis and application development activities through direct and indirect resources (vendor resources).
  • Collaborates with the Corp IT groups and enhance the technology solutions that are technically robust while meeting business imperatives (budget, efficiency, timeliness).
  • Guides development teams in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning and standard development practices.
  • Assists in business process design and documentation as needed to leverage the capabilities of new or existing technology solutions of significant complexity.
  • Meets scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner and have an in-depth knowledge of the principles, theories, practices and techniques for managing the activities related to planning, managing and implementing systems analysis and application development projects and programs.
  • Responsible for the management of the technology capability to support the business need – in collaboration with the Business Relationship Managers – and the optimization of the technology performance, usage and operation.
  • Leads the development of technology strategies that outline the upgrade and replacement strategies for the technology areas.
  • Ensures the stable operation of applications and platforms.
  • Leads the isolation and resolution of root causes when issues occur.
  • Participates in the relevant business Technology Process teams to provide technical input and to facilitate application leverage.
  • Main point of contact for technical questions related to supported applications for end user through mid-level manager levels.
  • Consistently keeps current with technology trends and business operation trends to provide guidance, consultative input and solutions to the business.
  • Communicates with senior management regularly to convey project status, development opportunities, and future trends. Consistently seeks opportunities to enhance understanding of business and technology environments.
  • Assists in the attainment of financial performance metrics through active management of licensing costs/growth and budget forecasting for initiatives.
  • Participates in the process of negotiating, monitoring and managing vendor agreements and commitments.
  • Investigate new licensing models or alternative solutions to increase value.
  • Harmonize software footprint to reduce or eliminate similar applications.

 

 

What you’ll need to be successful:

 

 

  • Strong knowledge of Integration platforms like Workato, Logic Apps, Boomi, Informatica
  • Strong knowledge of common API types and tools for building API-based integrations
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and common tools used (git, npm, Visual Studio). Azure DevOps knowledge a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Windows, Windows shell scripting, application installation and deployment methods, application purchasing and license management and systems maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of application development practices and software engineering expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft’s Azure services, focused on foundational security and identity services
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and one or more scripting languages (bash or PowerShell preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Progress RDBMS, T-SQL
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft’s Office 365 services, focused on SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and their APIs.
  • Ability to automate application installation
  • Ability to configure and maintain DevOps pipelines for a variety of deployment types
  • Ability to assist setup & Maintenance of systems
  • Familiarity with Modern front and frameworks like React, Angular, and Svelte
  • Familiarity with Power BI
  • Familiarity of Accounting
  • Possess strong skills in Integration platform, SQL server, systems analysis, testing, debugging, documentation, storage, and interfacing. Gather requirements from clients, partners, and vendors to create specifications and prioritize features. Experience in automating processes using scripting to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Exhibits high degree or ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness. Applies advanced technology solutions and relevant principles to propose solutions. Viewed as an expert.
  • Works on significantly complex problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative.
  • Often acts independently to uncover and resolve issues. Works under consultative direction toward determined long-range goals and objectives.
  • Serves as the organization’s spokesperson on projects and programs of significant impact.
  • Ability to multitask in supporting multiple business applications or managing multiple projects.
  • Proven managerial skills including verbal and written communication, project planning, and project management.
  • Ability to translate concepts to action by timely implementation.

 

 

What you bring to the table:

 

 

  • Four-year degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 10-15 years of relevant field of work or equivalent experience.
