Shenandoah University’s Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing seeks applicants for the position of a Nurse-Midwifery program Director. This is a full-time benefited position. This position is also remote with occasional on-campus expectations (Winchester, VA main campus).
This position is a 12-month full-time faculty appointment. Responsibilities include the coordination of all aspects of the nurse midwifery program; directing the development, evaluation, and revision of the NM program; providing leadership in the review and revisions of the NM curricula in adherence with professional standards and curricular processes; teaching, service and scholarship responsibilities in the School of Nursing

- Doctoral-prepared nurse with a current license and national certification as a Nurse -Midwife.

The Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The School of Nursing offers baccalaureate (4-year traditional, transfer, and accelerated second degree options), Master’s (Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Nurse- Midwifery (NM), Post Graduate Certificates (FNP, PMHNP, NM), and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. The School of Nursing has two physical locations: Winchester Main Campus and Loudoun, and Graduate programs are offered online with onsite campus immersions.
