Shenandoah University’s Department of Social and Criminal Justice is accepting applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Criminal Justice. This is a full-time benefited position located on our main campus in Winchester, Virginia.

The ideal candidate will have teaching experience, familiarity with the wide scope of criminal justice studies, and an area of expertise in white-collar crime, immigration, intersectionality and/or other areas in which changing demographic, social and economic conditions impact the criminal justice system in the United States.  We also value experience with interdisciplinary work as well as with community service programs.

 


Required Skills

The successful candidate must hold an earned doctorate in Criminal Justice or Criminology. ABDs will also be considered but must have a doctorate before appointment. Experience teaching in the face-to-face classroom mode is required.
