Shenandoah University’s Department of Languages and Cultural Studies is accepting applications for a Spanish adjunct professor, to begin in August 2025. This position is located on our main campus in Winchester, Virginia.
Prospective applicants must be able to teach in person at the elementary and intermediate levels with emphasis on communicative proficiency and technology-based instruction.
Teaching is recognized as the most important faculty activity at Shenandoah University, and we seek faculty members who focus on individual student learning styles and motivations.

- Fluency
- Master’s degree with 18 hours in the appropriate language or 18 graduate hours in the language.
