Shenandoah University’s College of Arts and Sciences is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Biology. This is a full-time benefited position located on our main campus in Winchester, Virginia.

This full-time, career-contract position will include teaching lower-division anatomy and physiology lectures and other elective courses to biology majors and students in related fields. An on-campus, in-person presence is expected. The successful candidate will describe elective courses they would develop to complement the department’s strengths. Preference will be given to candidates who can expand the department's ability to provide research opportunities to undergraduates.

Required Skills

The minimum requirement is a Ph.D. in the biological sciences completed by the appointment date (August 2023).


Required Experience

Experience teaching Anatomy & Physiology is strongly preferred. Rank will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
