Shenandoah University is seeking a dynamic individual with a love of teaching to coordinate and teach programming courses in Python, Java and possibly C/C++/C#. Most classes will be held in person, although some hybrid or fully online teaching may be required. Programming classes enroll students from a variety of majors in our rapidly growing Division of Applied Technology. The position is expected to commence in Fall 2022, although part-time Summer teaching is a possibility.

Qualifications:
A master's degree in computer science or computing-related field is required, PhD preferred. Post-docs are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will be someone with experience teaching programming and who can demonstrate the ability to scaffold introductory concepts so that beginners are successful. The candidate must also have enough breadth to understand the needs of different computing disciplines such as computer science, cybersecurity, and information technology.
