A place to make a difference: 

In this full-time maximum-term position (until end of December 2025) based in Gold Coast, you’ll provide outreach case management support to women and children experiencing Domestic and Family Violence and/or homelessness because of DFV.  Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll work business hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

 

You will make a difference by:

  • Providing immediate support to women and children impacted by Domestic and Family Violence
  • Conducting risk assessments where Domestic and Family violence is identified
  • Developing strong networks and referral pathways to support desired outcomes
  • Collecting and recording information for the purpose of accountability, evaluation, and reporting

You’re a passionate and confident family practitioner, with strong knowledge of domestic and family violence and how it impacts families and communities. You’re committed to making a positive change in the community and you work within a trauma-informed practice framework.


Bringing your best every day means having:

  • Experience working with women, children and young people who have experienced domestic and family violence
  • Knowledge of best practice, professional standards, and relevant research in the field of domestic and family violence
  • Demonstrated understanding of the ways in which cultural contexts influence practice approaches
  • Current valid driver’s licence
  • A Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology or relevant Human Service Qualification and/or significant experience working in a similar service
