You’ll work with our team to provide focused interventions that tackle both immediate challenges and long-term development for young people. By joining our team, you’ll be instrumental in fostering resilience, promoting positive behaviours, and empowering young people to achieve their full potential.

Learn from inspiring people and grow from a connection to our strong local and global networks. From our programs to our support services - this is the place to realise your purpose.

A place to make a difference:

In this part-time, maximum term role (4 days per week, through to end of June 2025, with potential for extension), you’ll work as a part of our Mobile Youth Outreach Short Term Remand Pilot team in Wagga to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. The Youth Specialist plays a key role in delivering on our vision of a better world for young people.

You will make a difference by:

  • Providing early intervention sessions via Mobile Youth Van to young people 10-17 years in school and out of school

  • Working in collaboration with partners (government and non-government) towards common goals to meet the complex needs of clients
  • Actively participating in community events to promote the program
  • Maintaining accurate case notes and records, and inputting data into internal and external online systems

You’re an experienced and passionate youth worker, and your commitment to fostering positive relationships within our diverse communities is second to none. We will recognise your contribution and provide you the support to ensure you can bring your best, knowing here you have the space and opportunity to grow.

  • Experience facilitating and organising group activities
  • Driver’s licence
  • Qualifications in Youth Work or a similar field would be desirable
