Aspire Health Alliance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Integrated SUD Services to join our team. This full-time, position is based at South Shore Hospital and plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) service line. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of Aspire staff within the inpatient SBIRT service, outpatient substance use treatment, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and a perinatal behavioral health outpatient clinic. The Director will provide leadership, clinical and administrative supervision, ensuring the delivery of high-quality client care in compliance with program policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. The role requires a proactive approach to crisis management and problem-solving, as well as collaboration with South Shore Health (SSH) leadership and the Divisional Director on program development and growth initiatives. Key responsibilities include working with the integrated SSH team across clinical, quality, compliance, and financial domains; evaluating and improving system processes; hiring, training, supervising, and assessing staff; collaborating with clinicians and prescribers to support clients; overseeing case intakes; ensuring an integrated team approach to care; developing and implementing quality initiatives; managing risk procedures; assessing and addressing training needs; and maintaining standards with licensing entities and payers. The Director of Integrated SUD Services will be instrumental in achieving client-centric program objectives and performance outcomes, making this a critical role for the continued success and growth of Aspire Health Alliance's services.

Required Experience

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or another relevant mental health discipline
  • Independent licensure with a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (e.g., LICSW, LMHC, LADC1, LMFT)
  • Proven ability to implement program objectives, identify stakeholders, plan steps, and coordinate resources efficiently
  • Training and experience in supervision, evaluation, and leadership of program staff, including fiscal management and adherence to budgetary guidelines
  • Three to five years of previous clinical and administrative supervisory experience within behavioral health programs
  • Experience in providing clinical services, including SUD services
