Aspire Health Alliance is seeking a dedicated ACCS Recovery Specialist to join our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) team. Under the supervision of the ACCS Assistant Director, this role is pivotal in providing comprehensive case management and clinical support to adults with serious mental illness. The Recovery Specialist will collaborate with licensed clinicians to develop and implement individualized recovery-based service plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the evolving needs of our clients. This position requires a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for client transportation. Key responsibilities include providing individual supportive therapy, symptom management, and crisis intervention. The specialist will also be responsible for documenting client progress, reviewing progress notes, and participating in the development of behavioral support plans. Communication with guardians, family members, and other healthcare professionals is essential to coordinate schedules, supports, and services. The Recovery Specialist will also assist in client intake, assessment processes, and explore community participation opportunities for individuals.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate care across a continuum of services
  • Flexibility with schedule and ability to function effectively as a team member
  • Ability to contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Creativity and resourcefulness in identifying pathways to support the program
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Capability to provide individual supportive therapy and symptom management
  • Proficiency in crisis intervention and ability to serve as a backup for evening and weekend staff
  • Experience with developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising treatment plans
  • Ability to educate and support clients' families and advocate for clients' rights and preferences

Required Experience

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with individuals with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI)
  • Familiarity with principles of psychiatric recovery
  • Experience in case management and coordination of individual treatment teams
  • Experience in substance use treatment services is advantageous
  • Experience in assisting with the development of individual behavioral support plans
  • Experience in client intake and assessment processes
  • Experience in community-based mental health services
