Great opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse to become part of a dedicated team of professionals!  Under the direction of the Adult Community Crisis Stabilization Nurse Manager and working with the CCS LPNs and Prescribing Professionals, works to provide specialized care to adults in a 24-hour behavioral health crisis stabilization setting. 

Responsible for:

  • Monitoring and documenting medications administered and client self-administered during clients’ A-CCS stay
  • Monitoring client physical medical issues and working with Mental Health Workers to arrange for acute medical care for clients when needed
  • Facilitating health and wellness groups and activities
  • Delivering treatment interventions that are strength based and solution-focused
  • Coordinating with clients’ outpatient and A-CCS care providers
  • Completing documentation per shift as assigned  
  • Participating in ongoing required training

 

 

 

 


Required Skills

  • Must demonstrate the following characteristics: reliable, responsible, team player, ability to grow and learn in the position, detail-oriented, organized, flexible, capacity to provide support and quality care to improve the physical and mental health of individuals served.
  • Must be an independent problem-solver, able to work with minimal supervision when necessary

 


Required Experience

  • One-year experience in an acute mental health and/or dual diagnosis setting (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Recovery oriented treatment for severe mental illness (preferred) 
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma/Associates/or Bachelor’s degree)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) must be licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration
