Terms of Employment:  Contracted Limited Term, Part-Time, hours vary and may include evenings and additional weekend hours as determined by the college.

Classification: Leadership, Contracted Limited Term, Part-time

Compensation: $8,528 per year

                          Salary is for the 2025-26 fiscal year, prorated based on hire date

Job Summary: : Responsible for the administration and development of a collegiate-level women's SPORT team, including student recruitment, engagement, retention, and degree completion through mentorship and participation in college activities. The role includes budget management, coordination of activities and competitions, student development, summer camp support, and community outreach.

 

Responsibilities:

Recruit students and prepare the team for competitions to include practices and game preparation. 
Must have knowledge of and maintain compliance with college academic eligibility rules.
Schedule events and practice facilities through the Athletic Director.
Represent SC4 in a professional/positive manner on campus, in the community, and at college events.
Responsible for the behavior and well-being of student-athletes at all team activities to maintain a positive College image.
Function as a promotional agent for the team and College.
Work with the Athletic Director to track academic progress and retention of students.
Attend meetings as required by the Athletic Director.
Responsible for budgetary oversight, through the Athletic Director, to comply with Business Office requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Supervision Received: Under the general supervision of the Athletic Director.

 

Supervision Given: Provides supervision to the assistant coaches.

 

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in a related field and/or extensive successful coaching experience at high school varsity level or higher required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Collegiate coaching/participation experience preferred.
Experience with budget oversight, student activities, and a willingness to work with students in a service capacity required.
Strong oral and written communication and motivational skills.
Ability to work as a team member with the College community, to include students, staff, faculty, administration and other athletic teams on campus.
