POSITION SUMMARY:
Servtech, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Construction Manager in Wyoming. The Construction Manager will plan, direct, and lead activities of a designated construction project to ensure that the goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed budget and time frame. Additionally, this individual will support the installation and commissioning of integrated, modular, and packaged systems in the fields of renewable energy, traditional energy, and mining.
This leader must have the desire to perform quality work safely, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Must be a leader who represents the organization with the ability to be a liaison to our customers, adhere to company contracts, and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism.
- Performs all work in compliance with company and client standards, does not deviate from policies and procedures, and adheres to regulatory requirements.
- Lead daily on and off-site meetings by providing sub-contractors with a detailed list of items that are complete and incomplete.
- Establish goals and deadlines for all project activities daily.
- Establish a work plan within specific project parameters by utilizing resources and staff
- Effectively communicate with project staff and outline a work plan by assigning duties and responsibilities.
- Direct the flow consistent within the project schedule.
- Manage and plan for direct reports associated with installation and integration of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
- Manage the budget and required change orders for the construction project.
- Assist the Project Manager with cost forecasts and financial projections of the construction scope.
- Manage the punch list action items and closeout process through Functional Installation Check-out acceptance.
- Meet goals and deadlines established by others or communicate in advance of the timelines established if goals are unattainable or at risk.
- Monitor and adjust project plans based on changes in the project.
- Travel domestically and internationally 50-60% of the time. Daily local travel required 30-50% of the time.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
- Conduct activities safely and healthily and work by established safety and company requirements.
- Responsible for site cost, schedule, safety, productivity, and full understanding of the scope of work.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for all company team members on-site and adhere to the company and client standards of quality, ethics, and safety.
- Oversee contractor installation methods to ensure quality and safety are maintained.
- Effectively serve as a point of contact with the customer and ensure that communication is handled in a professional and timely manner.
- Lead and participate in regular internal and external progress meetings communicating progress to plan, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Review subcontractor bid documents and change requests against the contracted scope of work.
- Keep proper documentation dialogs about all issues regarding the project including, but not limited to: Contractor change order summaries, bid results, subcontractor agreements, daily field reports, schedules, change requests, field directives, punch list documentation, and installation check-out documents.
- Promote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in an office and/or outside in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for is possible. The ability to left 50 pounds, drive in dark and adverse conditions, climb to elevated walkways, extended hours standing or seated. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment, including a full body harness in designated areas.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Five (5) to ten (10) or more years of experience in a construction setting, large steel and pipe assembly and refinery, or PSM Covered Process experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or associate technical degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- OSHA 10 or 30hr certificate is preferred, but not required.
- Basic drafting skills and methods are required.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
- Ability to interpret mechanical, civil, and structural engineer/designer notes, plans, and sketches for incorporation into design documents is necessary.
- Ability to interpret electrical and control engineer/designer notes, plans, and sketches for incorporation to design documents is preferred.
- Required to have a driver’s license in good standing.
- Excellent communication skills; both oral and written are required.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
- Computer skills and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based programs are required.
- Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
