POSITION SUMMARY:
Servtech, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Building Assembler to join our team in our manufacturing facilities for the energy, mining, industrial power markets, and Integrated bio-energy solutions. This individual must have the desire to perform quality work safely, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

BUILDING ASSEMBLER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Paint structural steel, pipe, valves, and other component parts used for our industrial manufactured products
- Prepare paint and ensure proper mixing for customer requirements
- Responsible for painting mil thickness according to company procedure
- Responsible for maintaining and cleaning paint guns and equipment
- Regular attendance in accordance with our attendance policy
- Assemble metal building structures on our welded skids using various tools and equipment according to job specifications
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints and other written instructions and/or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
- Possess an immense amount of attention to detail
- The ability to follow training and company procedures
- Assemble prefabricated parts
- Install siding on our structures
- Organizing materials and equipment
- Prep weld fittings
- Participate in shop cleanup and keep your area clean during working hours
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to effectively perform the position of Paint Prepper on the floor at any point in time.
- Prep materials by high-pressure wash or blast materials
- Load and unload paint booth with materials
- Stage materials for curing
- Perform set-up, material handling duties, and minor general maintenance
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. regularly is required. Must be able to stand/walk 90% of the time and sit 10% of the time. Requires the ability to work from heights while utilizing the appropriate PPE for each situation.
SKILL / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. is strongly preferred.
- 0-1 year of industrial painting is strongly preferred.
- 0-1 year of assembly experience is strongly preferred.
- Good motor vehicle record is required.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs specifically Excel.
- Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
- Must be able to use and read a wet and dry mil gauge
- Strong problem-solving skills are required
- High level of energy and motivation
- Ability to work flexible hours including, but not limited to, some overtime

- Ability to read blueprints, ISO’s, and other technical documents is preferred but not required
