Tax Credit Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Tax Credit Analyst will be responsible for ensuring compliance requirements for investment and production tax credits for existing and new renewable energy projects are met. Supporting all tax credit qualifications, registration and monetization activities, the analyst will act as liaison between Roeslein departments and tax advisers. The analyst will also provide in-depth analysis and handle data and project management to provide decision support and facilitate operational strategy execution. This position is located in office in our St Louis, MO location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide full support on qualification, registration and filing of investment tax credits [ITC] and production tax credits [PTC] for renewable energy projects
- Field all data queries and questions from tax advisers and consultants
- Communicate with Roeslein departments to gather, analyze and distribute data and documentation
- Monitor and report operational processes and procedures that relate to Prevailing Wages and Apprenticeship
- Ensure current projects meet all tax credit compliance requirements
- Prepare and manage due diligence data rooms for investors in the process of monetizing tax credits
- Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
- Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in an office and controlled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 10 lbs. on a regular basis is required.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5 - 10 years experience in analytics is strongly preferred.
- Ability to understand technical information.
- Computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs are required.
- Highly proficient in Excel using macros, pivot tables, etc.
- Ability to manage and analyze data and present summarized reports.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple monthly tasks.
