POSITION SUMMARY:

Method Flow Products, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team in the energy, mining, industrial power markets, and Integrated bio-energy solutions.  This individual must have the desire to perform quality work safely, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must safely meet deadlines while producing a quality product.
  • Great attention to detail
  • Must be knowledgeable with the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLCs, motors, starters, distribution and switchgear, instrumentation equipment, measurement equipment, grounding equipment, and VFDs varying from low voltage up to three-phase
  • Must know how to analyze prints, schematics, and drawings of electrical systems.
  • Ability to stay on schedule and on budget while navigating changing environments.
  • Accurately fill out field tickets for invoicing.
  • Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
  • Interpret data from electrical diagrams and schematics and complete wiring of electrical systems.
  • Familiar with safe and productive use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code is helpful but not required.
  • Must be able to kneel and work on knees.
  • Reaching overhead while working on a ladder while maintaining three points of contact.
  • Assist pulling electric cable and laying it out in cable tray.
  • Lift to 15 pounds above your head often while working on a ladder while maintaining three points of contact.
  • Follow Method Flow Products Safety Procedures and Policies.
  • Up to 50% travel is required for this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

Work is performed in an environment with an uncontrolled atmosphere.  Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible.  All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.   

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. regularly is required. Must be able to stand/walk 90% of the time and sit 10% of the time. Requires the ability to work from heights while utilizing the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for each situation.  

 

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Current Wyoming Journeyman’s License.
  • 2 or more years of oil and gas experience is preferred.
  • High Voltage AC and Low Voltage DC experience is required.
  • I&E/Programming experience is a bonus.
  • Must work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with handheld tools and assembling parts is preferred.
