POSITION SUMMARY:
Servtech Products, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Material Handler I Position. This position must have the desire to perform quality work safely, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must comply with Roeslein & Associates’ core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and maintain sound relationships with employees.
- Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
- Performs all work in compliance with company standards, does not deviate from policies and procedures, and adheres to regulatory requirements.
- Advise and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI’s) for consistency.
- Drive company vehicles to transport goods and materials to specified locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Accurately process and review customer orders, ensuring all products are correctly picked, packed, and prepared for shipment, delivery or pick up.
- Verifies the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming orders.
- Must label products and place them accordingly in the correct location as referenced by Fishbowl
- Responsible for keeping a well-maintained and organized stock and inventory.
- Responsible for maintaining an organized and clean shipping/receiving area.
- Handling returns by completing documentation and other required communication.
- Responsible for keeping all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular inspections.
- Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products.

- $25.00 - $27.51 per hour.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in an office and in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50lbs. on a regular basis is required.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have experience pulling a trailer.
- Highly motivated, ambitious, and results-oriented; commitment to a culture of performance and excellence is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Strong computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based programs are required.
