POSITION SUMMARY:

Method Flow Prodcuts, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Building Assembler Technician I to join our team in our manufacturing facilities for the energy, mining, industrial power markets, and Integrated bio-energy solutions.  This individual must have the desire to perform quality work safely, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safety is essential at Method Flow Products and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate.

  • Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
  • Must meet deadlines while working safely to ensure a quality product.
  • Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
  • Assemble metal building structures on welded skids using various tools and equipment according to job specifications.
  • Read, interpret, and follow basic prints and other written instructions and/or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must follow training and company procedures.
  • Install siding and roof panels on structures.
  • Organize all materials and equipment.
  • Must follow good housekeeping practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • $24.00 - $25.50 per hour

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. regularly is required. Must be able to stand/walk 90% of the time and sit 10% of the time. Requires the ability to work from heights while utilizing the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for each situation.  

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with an uncontrolled atmosphere.  Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible.  All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.   

 

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required
  • 0-2 years of manufacturing or construction experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to read prints and other technical documents is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with handheld tools (drill, circular saw) and assembling parts is preferred.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure.
  • Must be able to perform job responsibilities at various heights.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude required.
  • Elevated level of energy and motivation.
