SUMMARY
Method Flow Products, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a dedicated Structural Welder II to join our dynamic team at our manufacturing facility.
We are looking for an individual who is committed to performing high-quality work safely, pays close attention to detail, and has a strong focus on customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be able to pass a welding test setup as well as able to pass the AWS D 1.1. certification requirements.
- Consistently weld structural carbon steel in 3G-PF fillet welding using FCAW.
- Must have great attention to detail to examine work pieces for defects and measure for accuracy.
- Must follow verbal directions, training, and procedures
- Basic knowledge of layout, positioning, and aligning before assembly.
- Ability to operate welders, hand and power tools, forklift, and overhead crane safely and follow Servtech Safety Procedures and Policies.
- Must have the knowledge to train a Structural Welder I.
- Consistently weld structural carbon steel in 1F, 3F and 4F fillet weld using FCAW and GMAW.
- Must have great attention to detail to examine work pieces for defects and measure for accuracy.
- Must follow verbal directions, training, and procedures.
- Must follow training and company procedures.
- Must be a leader who represents the organization with the ability to be a liaison to our customers, adhere to company standards, and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism.
- Must follow good housekeeping practices.
- Must comply with Roeslein & Method Flow core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and the commitment to maintain respectful relationships with all employees.
- Performs all work in compliance with company standards, does not deviate from policies and procedures, and adheres to regulatory requirements.
- Safety is essential at Method flow and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate.
- Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.
- A good motor vehicle record is required.
- A minimum of two years of welding is preferred.
- Advanced level ability to read prints and tape measurements
- Meets all Structural Welder I requirements consistently.
- Must be consistently executing high-quality FCAW and GMAW welds.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime.
- Must adhere to the Company’s attendance policy.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. regularly is required. Must be able to stand/walk 90% of the time and sit 10% of the time. Requires the ability to work from heights while utilizing the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for each situation.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
