SUMMARY
Method Flow Products, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Pipe Welder II to join our team in the energy, mining, industrial power markets, and Integrated bio-energy solutions. This individual must have the desire to perform quality work safely, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be able to pass a welding test according to the ASME B31.3 6G test certification requirements.
- Must be able to read and interpret prints.
- Must follow verbal direction, training, and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of layout, positioning, aligning, and securing parts and assemblies prior to assembly.
- Must operate welders, hand, and power tools safely while following Method Flow Safety Procedures and Policies.
- Assemble, install, and repair pipe components and systems according to specifications.
- Conduct all work activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.
- At a level II, the position is required to pass the stainless-steel test. Must be able to consistently pass carbon-steel x-ray. A level II must consistently pass carbon-steel and stainless-steel x-ray at a minimum of 90% pass rate.
- Must be willing to train a level one technician.
- Must be able to read and interpret prints.
- Must follow verbal direction, training, and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of layout, positioning, aligning, and securing parts and assemblies prior to assembly.
- Must follow training and company procedures.
- Must be a leader who represents the organization with the ability to be a liaison to our customers, adhere to company standards, and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism.
- Must follow good housekeeping practices.
- Must comply with Roeslein & Servtech’s core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and the commitment to maintain respectful relationships with all employees.
- Performs all work in compliance with company standards, does not deviate from policies and procedures, and adheres to regulatory requirements.
- Safety is essential at Servtech and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate.
- Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.
- Certification in welding is a plus.
- 2-3 years of welding is required.
- The ability to troubleshoot and strong attention to detail is required.
- Strong math skills are preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime.
- Must adhere to the Company’s attendance policy.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. regularly is required. Must be able to stand/walk 90% of the time and sit 10% of the time. Requires the ability to work from heights while utilizing the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for each situation.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
