Accounts Payable Administrator (Part-Time)

Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations and processing of Roeslein’s accounts payable. This role offers a flexible schedule of 20-30 hours per week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and reconcile vendor invoices with purchase orders.
- Coordinate revisions with the Purchasing Department.
- Resolve invoice-related issues.
- Verify vendor compliance.
- Process overhead invoices for payment.
- Obtain Project Manager approval for invoices and expenses, if necessary.
- Process wire transfers, ACHs, and semi-monthly check runs, coordinating with other AP Admin staff.
- Respond to vendor inquiries.
- Complete special projects for Project Managers and Management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
- Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner, adhering to established safety and company requirements.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide backup for Expense Report processing, if needed.
- Promote a positive working environment to achieve organizational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or accounts payable.
- Working knowledge of bookkeeping/accounts payable functions.
- Accuracy with numbers and comfort with math.
- Willingness to learn how to process international transactions.
- Diplomacy in guiding fellow employees to follow Roeslein accounting procedures.
- Flexibility to accept other duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based programs, including Word and Excel.
- Effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
- Ability to interact professionally with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
