POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for the production of financial statements and providing reliable financial data necessary for operational decisions. This position offers a flexible schedule of 10-20 hours per week. Additional hours are available if desired but not required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor of cash flow weekly.
- Prepare and post accurate accrual entries, including payroll, insurance, and other key expense categories.
- Record and manage journal entries within ERP systems to maintain up-to-date and reliable financial records.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
- Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work per established safety and company requirements.

- Abide by all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Candidates must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Preference given to candidates at the Junior level or higher.
- Must have a positive attitude and cooperate well.
- Must be trustworthy and able to maintain confidential information.
- Must be responsible and reliable.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication; both oral and written.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and planning.
- Effective time management.
- Requires a strong ability to multi-task and flexibility to learn and accept other duties.
- Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Strong math skills and confidence when working with numbers.
- Excellent computer skills and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs.
- Prior experience with Viewpoint Construction Software (Vista) or QuickBooks is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to St. Louis, MO is required.
