Youth & Family Support Specialist
Child and Family Services
The Youth & Family Support Specialist provides strength-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive in-home and community-based services to youth and families.
This vital role blends direct service, therapeutic support, family engagement, advocacy, and systems coordination to promote stability, emotional wellness, and goal achievement within the context of individualized treatment plans.
This position fosters an inclusive and supportive program environment by demonstrating a strong and ongoing commitment to culture and belonging in all aspects of work. Services are delivered through a lens of social sustainability, with principles of culture and belonging integrated across all areas of practice.
Rate: $22.28/hour
Schedule: Full Time 40 hours; requires ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends, to meet family needs

Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
Required Experience
- Enrolled in a master’s degree program in the human services field preferred; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in human services, psychology, social work, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Prior experience working with youth and families in community-based or therapeutic settings
