Seeking Master’s level interns to join the Home-Based Family Services team as a clinical intern currently pursuing their degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred!
Home-Based Family Services: The Riverside In-Home Family Therapy program addresses the emotional and behavioral difficulties facing youth up to age 21, while simultaneously working to improve family dynamics. We provide personalized strategies to promote the child’s healthy behavior at home, in the community, and at school. This program supports the whole family including parents, caregivers, and other children in the home who may also be affected by providing them with tools to better cope with and manage crises.
Schedule:
Flexible Mon-Fri (16-24 hours per week) evenings hours required
Please note that this internship is unpaid. This internship requires a license and vehicle.
As a clinical intern you will:
- Receive training on mental health systems, collaborating with providers, clinical interventions, clinical documentation, and safety planning/crisis management
- Receive weekly 1:1 clinical supervision and monthly intern group supervision
- Attend staff meetings
- Hold a caseload of 3-4 clients
- Complete required insurance authorizations and clinical documentation

Required Experience
- Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program
- Prior experience working with children, adolescents, and/or young adults preferred.
