Exciting Leadership Opportunity at Riverside Community Care: Director of DMH Day Programs!
Riverside Community Care is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as the Director of DMH Day Services. This leadership role involves overseeing the identified Life Skills Center, as well as managing and supporting two other Life Skills Directors and the Family After-School Program Director.
This position provides role modeling and leadership to cultivate a program environment for staff and clients that ensures a strong commitment to culture and belonging in all aspects of work.
The Director of DMH Day Programs will:
- Provide overall leadership and program management for the designated Life Skills Center, including supervision of staff, budget oversight, program development, and clinical duties.
- Oversee referral management, payer relations, and ensure effective service coordination for all clients.
- Collaborate closely with the Assistant Vice President to ensure seamless gap coverage, staff hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training as needed.
- Offer clinical operations oversight and supervision of clinicians at the Riverside School, in partnership with the Riverside School Director and Senior Manager Supervisor.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative environment across all programs, ensuring high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Support cross-departmental initiatives to enhance program quality and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to policy and procedure development to align with best practices in DMH services.
- Collaborate on the strategic planning and growth of programs within the department.
Key Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Deep understanding of clinical services, particularly within the DMH sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a positive work environment.
- Ability to manage budgets and financials effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Required Skills
- Valid driver's license and regular access to a reliable vehicle
Required Experience
- Master's Degree and Independent Licensure (LICSW or LMHC)
- Management/supervisory or administrative experience in behavioral health/human services
- Five years' experience working with youth and two years of supervisor experience
