Recovery Coach - Contract 1

*internal only*

Recovery Coaches (RCs) are individuals currently in recovery who have lived experience with addiction and/or co-occurring mental health disorders and have been trained to help their peers with a similar experience to gain hope, explore their own recovery pathway, and achieve life goals.

The primary responsibility of RCs is to support the voices and choices of the people they help, removing obstacles to recovery, linking Members to a recovery community, and serving as a personal guide and mentor. The RC will work with the individual to develop a Wellness Plan that orients the activities of the RC service.

The RC will be a part of a larger team of other RC’s and case managers.  The RC will work with health department and emergency services contacts to connect with community stakeholders, understand gaps and opportunities, and form an initial launch plan to reach eligible individuals and offer additional tailored service options such as support and counseling groups tailored to different audiences, including supportive substance use education and counseling for families of residents in recovery. The RC will provide education to persons engaged in services but may also utilize their own recovery experience and knowledge with the entire treatment team.

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

Pay Rate: $23.27/hourly

  • additional $1 for CPS
