This position’s main objective is to ensure the organization meets throughput, cycle time, and on-time shipment goals by assisting with the Master Production Scheduler on all projects.

 Assist in managing project schedules and production plans.

      Release shop orders to Manufacturing.

      Manage constraint work centers and monitor resource capacity.

      Daily review of exception messages and assist with re-scheduling.

      Assist in maintaining new parts and associated master data.

      Assist in developing new production planning and scheduling processes within ERP system.

      Act as a backup and report to Master Production Scheduler.

      Support the Operations Department and communicate with departmental leadership.

Required Skills

      Strong Microsoft Office Skills

      Basic understanding of production processes

      Skilled in change management and conflict resolution

      Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment

      Ability to work under minimal supervision

      Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions

      Knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing methodologies

Required Experience

      2 – 5 years working experience in a manufacturing environment (required)

      Previous working experience using an ERP system and/or knowledge of MRP (preferred)
