The overall objective of this position is to prepare parts and welded assemblies by blasting & painting to stage in order to finish  the  product, and  meet  defined production standards, schedules and  quality  requirements. Consistent and accurate modeling and representing of the Point Eight Power brand, mission, vision, values and organizational strategy are essential to achieving the goals of the organization.

      Production and Processing: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

      Design: Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

      Mechanical: Knowledge of  machines and  tools, including their  designs, uses,  repair, and  maintenance. Tools include: blast pot, paint pot, dust collector, recovery unit and wrenches.

      Computers and Electronics: Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming such as Microsoft Office Business Suite.

      Verbal & Written Communication Skills: This position requires basic skills (Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.)

      Math Skills: This position requires minimal skills (add, subtract, etc.)

      Arm‐Hand Steadiness: The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.

      Visualization: The ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged.

      Manual Dexterity: The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

Required Experience

      3 years of experience in blasting and painting in a commercial or industrial industry
