Manufacturing and Operations
Installing copper bus bar as per drawing packages and QSPM requirements
Maintaining a safe, clean, well-organized work area; complying with safety procedures and requirements.
Identifying and documenting missing materials or production problems that may cause project delays or impact quality.
Providing supportive guidance/training to 3rd class employees in proficiently performing their job tasks.
Contributing new and innovative ideas to drive continuous process improvements in quality and efficiencies.
Independently complete small projects without guidance after the foreman has signed off on QCP.
Coordinating with team members of assigned projects, ensuring on schedule, high-quality project completion that are well within estimates.
Perform quality inspections on projects in manufacturing both during and prior to shipment, ensuring a consistently best in class product.
Review master shop drawings against material data sheet to ensure accuracy and ensure correct parts and tolls are accessible.
Required Skills
Self motivated and able to identify, examine and resolve issues independently.
Strong regard for guidelines, procedures and integrity.
Ability to apply principles, techniques, procedures and equipment to the design and production of various goods.
Knowledge of machines and tools including wrenches, sockets, screw drivers, air ratchets, heat gun, ratchets, center punch, hand drill, lug crimper and cable cutter.
Ability to read and interpret documents.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Required Experience
1 - 3 years of relevant work experience in switchgear manufacturing or electrical controls experience.
High school diploma/GED
