JOB SUMMARY

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

The HR Director at Radwell International plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing organizational strategies that are in alignment with the company's overarching goals. This position entails overseeing employee relations, ensuring HR compliance, and leading the development and implementation of HR policies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, adept problem-solving abilities, and thrive in a fast-paced private equity environment.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop Organizational Strategies:
    • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to devise HR strategies that support Radwell International's objectives and foster organizational growth.
  2. Employee Relations Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of employee relations, including investigation and documentation of employee issues, and provide guidance and training to managers on effective conflict resolution strategies.
  3. HR Compliance:
    • Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying updated on relevant laws and regulations, and implementing necessary policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
  4. Policy Development:
    • Conduct comprehensive research and develop, write, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to reflect industry best practices and uphold Radwell International's mission and values.
  5. Legal Compliance:
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations to mitigate legal risks and foster a positive employer-employee relationship.
  6. Communication:
    • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey HR policies, procedures, and updates to both management and employees.
  7. Problem-Solving:
    • Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address complex HR issues and devise innovative solutions aligned with Radwell International's goals.
  8. Fast-Paced Environment:
    • Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced private equity environment, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and consistently delivering results within tight deadlines.
  9. Cultural Integration:
    • Assist the SVP in blending various cultures as the company continues to acquire businesses that enhance its business model.

 

METRICS

  • All employee relations issues investigated within 24 hours of report
  • HR department remains compliant to all federal and state laws/requirements
  • HR policies/handbooks kept up to date at all times

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, focusing on employee relations, compliance, and policy development.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with safety programs and government agency compliance is advantageous.

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work with large datasets in Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.
  • Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is advantageous.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

  • SHRM certification preferred
