This is an in-field role requiring 80% travel. Hours will be dictated by the customer and may be earlier or later than typical. Available areas:

As a Senior Field Technician, you will take on a leadership role in the field operations, overseeing technical tasks, troubleshooting, and providing guidance to the field service team. Reporting to the Field Service Manager or Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of field service activities, maintaining equipment, and delivering high-quality technical support to customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate field service operations, ensuring the timely and effective completion of tasks.
- Provide guidance and support to field technicians to meet performance goals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues in the field.
- Provide expertise in resolving technical challenges and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of equipment used in field operations.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
- Enforce quality control measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality field services.
- Conduct inspections and audits to assess compliance with standards.
- Interact with customers to understand technical requirements and address service-related inquiries.
- Maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication.
- Provide training and mentorship to field service technicians.
- Ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and training sessions.
- Manage inventory levels of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of field service activities, including service reports, inspection records, and customer communication.
- Ensure documentation complies with company standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as engineering and product support, to address technical issues and improve service efficiency.
- Provide feedback on product performance and customer feedback.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in field service operations.
- Implement best practices to enhance overall field service efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Keep abreast of industry standards and recommend updates as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a senior or leadership field technician position is preferred.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing technical equipment.
- Familiarity with a variety of technical systems and tools.
- Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to safety and knowledge of safety regulations in the workplace.
- Ability to adapt to changing field conditions and operational needs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant technical certifications or an associate degree is a plus.
- Substantial experience in field service operations, with a track record of progressively responsible roles.
