Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC, a Yum! Brands Co-op, is currently seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to join the Distribution and Logistics Team. 
 
Overview of the Position:
The Distribution and Logistics team is accountable for ensuring supply continuity for the +$7B in critical Yum! Brand food, packaging and equipment components which support 21,000+ restaurants and $20B in revenue across Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, Habit Burger & Grill and A&W in the United States. Hybrid position - 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
 
This position will engage with a broad set of teams to plan and ensure execution of logistics and warehousing strategies that assure supply across all Yum! Brands as well as resolve supply disruptions while planning for future network needs. Responsibility will encompass approximately:
• All US based DCs and redistribution points
• 25+ Supplier, plant, and/or item specification transitions annually RSCS’ Equipment Warehouse
 
Essential Functions
• Daily logistics point of contact with the assigned RSCS cross-functional teams, RSCS Distribution and
  Transportation partners, and Brands on resolution of supply and customer service issues.
• Responsible for analyzing supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement, and devising strategies to
  optimize the movement of goods and materials. This includes determining the most cost-effective transportation 
  routes, warehouse locations, and inventory management practices.
• Ability to optimize processes, negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers, distributors, carriers, and 
  minimize waste, while contributing to the organization's profitability and maintaining high service standards.
• Manage and maintain RSCS systems up to date. Review information on a regular basis with RSCS internal teams, 
  suppliers, distributors, and carriers to ensure accuracy of information.
• Responsible for budgeting, cost analysis, and cost reduction initiatives within the logistics and warehouse 
  department
• Responsible for any billing and payment discrepancies resolution between all parties (RSCS systems, suppliers, 
  distributors, and partner carriers)
• Develop and implement strategic logistics plans for RSCS and all supported brands.
• Implement and lead QBR process with all applicable partners. 
• Exhibit strategic leadership and foresight to support long range logistics optimization and service level 
  improvement, while balancing cost 
• Translate business needs and priorities into actionable logistic and warehousing strategies.
• Effectively initiate, manage, and lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects across the distribution
  network, leverage LEAN, standard work, and visual controls
• Define and implement scorecards and KPIs to drive results and improve fidelity into cost and service factors.
• Ability to travel as needed.
 
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree required. Supply Chain degree or concentration preferred.
• Prefer APICS CPIM certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, and/or ISM CPSM certification.
• 3+ years of freight and logistics experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Direct involvement with distributor/customer relationships and building out strategic road maps for future 
  operations.
• Ability to identify and understand complex issues, analyze, and compare data, and draw conclusions because of
  analysis. 
• Prefer personal involvement in business reviews, distribution onboarding and performance management to KPI 
  expectations. 
• High proficiency using Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• High proficiency using various project management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Presentations Skills geared at all levels of management.
