Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC, a Yum! Brands Co-op, is currently seeking a Director, Supply Chain Forecasting and Planning to join the Central Planning Team. 
 
RSCS is accountable for ensuring supply continuity for the +$7B in critical Yum! Brand food and packaging components which support 21,000+ restaurants and $20B in revenue across Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, The Habit Burger Grill and A&W in the United States.
 
The Director, Supply Chain Forecasting and Planning is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain planning processes. The Director will also work with functions within the company to support and/or lead new product introduction, partner launches and product/process improvement projects, as necessary.
 
With a focus on optimizing planning enablement and integration via Blue Yonder, the role will leverage the technology to enhance demand planning, supply planning and supply chain processes.
 
Essential Functions 
Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction for demand planning, forecasting, and supply planning activities aligned with organizational goals.
 
Blue Yonder Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of Blue Yonder software to optimize its usage for demand forecasting, planning, and inventory management.
 
Demand Forecasting: Lead efforts in developing accurate demand forecasts, incorporating market trends, historical data, and business intelligence.
 
Supply Planning: Oversee supply planning processes to ensure alignment with demand forecasts, optimizing inventory levels and production schedules.
 
Collaboration: Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, production, and logistics, to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
 
Technology Integration: Explore and implement advanced features of Blue Yonder software to enhance forecasting accuracy, demand planning, and supply chain optimization.
 
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and supply chain performance.
 
Risk Management: Proactively identify and address potential risks in the supply chain, working on mitigation strategies to ensure continuity.
 
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the demand planning and supply chain functions, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
 
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
 
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote

Required Education, Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree required in supply chain management, business, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
 
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in demand and/or supply chain planning management. 
Prefer direct knowledge within a food supply chain organization. 
 
Substantial experience in supply chain management, with a focus on planning and forecasting. 
 
Proven track record of leadership in supply chain planning roles, prefer at least 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management.
 
Experience working in a leadership or managerial capacity, preferably at the director level. Ability to lead and develop a team. 
 
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and all levels of management.
 
The ability to articulate and implement a strategic vision for supply chain planning. 
 
Extensive experience in leadership roles within demand planning, forecasting, and supply planning, with a focus on utilizing Blue Yonder software.
 
Blue Yonder certification or demonstrated expertise in Blue Yonder software solutions required.
 
Strong strategic thinking abilities with the capability to align supply chain initiatives with broader business strategies.
 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
 
Ability to lead and manage change initiatives within the supply chain planning domain.
 
Flexibility to adapt to evolving market conditions and technology advancements.
 
This role is crucial in shaping and optimizing the supply chain processes through advanced technology solutions, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
 
Ability to travel as needed, approximately 30%.
