Job Summary

• Prepare shipping documents and Bills of Lading.
• Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedure
• Record shipment data such as quantity, weight, size, discrepancies, and damage.
• Issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
• Coordinates receiving of incoming goods for production and non-production.
• Verify the packing list of incoming materials to assure that the correct material was received.
• Measure, Count, and Color Code all inbound material to correct Quantity, Size, and Grade
• Wear Proper PPE at all times in the Warehouse
• Must be Forklift Certified
• Must be Overhead Crane Certified
• Must work safely and follow all company safety requirements.

Equipment and Material Used:

• PPE, Tape measures, calipers, squares, straight-edge, micrometers, paint

Required Skills

• Able to read and comprehend work and safety rules, operating procedures, and instructions.
• Able to read measuring devices, color code charts, drawings and work instructions.
• Able to verbally communicate with other workers and management.
• Able to complete inspections reports.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Computer literate.

Required Experience

• 0-5 years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
• High School or Equivalent
