The Production Inventory Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and expediting inventory, Pre-Evaluation (PreEval) items, and Pre-Certification (PreCert) parts throughout the production process. This role supports production teams by ensuring inventory is properly tracked, routed, audited, and available when needed while maintaining inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.
This position serves as a critical link between inventory management and production operations, helping to ensure materials move efficiently through the repair and production process.
Key Responsibilities
• Support Production Supervisors and Technicians with inventory management and movement throughout production processes
• Assist with system-related training for new employees
• Support inventory process improvement initiatives
• Perform inventory audits and maintain inventory accuracy
• Process inventory movements and transfers within company systems
• Manage PreCert parts requests and inventory allocations
• Coordinate the intake, routing, and tracking of PreEval inventory
• Stage incoming manual requisitions, parts requests, and items being returned to stock
• Monitor and streamline incoming bids and purchase orders related to PreEval activities
• Manage inventory locations, bins, shelving, and production hold areas
• Ensure inventory records remain accurate and up to date
• Support workflow efficiency and production readiness across departments
• Perform other duties, tasks, or work as assigned
Metrics
• Minimize production inventory handling incidents and escalations
• Minimize inventory defects and discrepancies within internal systems
• Maintain organized and accurate production hold shelves
• Meet established inventory audit productivity goals
• Meet established inventory movement productivity goals
Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills
• General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Fundamental understanding of inventory management systems preferred
• Team-oriented with a focus on process improvement
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative production environment

Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One to three years of related experience and/or training preferred
• Technical or industrial product knowledge a plus
Physical Demands
• Occasional sitting, reaching, working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Frequent walking throughout production and warehouse areas
• Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds
Compensation
The recruiting base pay rate for this full-time position is $18.00 per hour.
Within the base pay range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Employees are expected to report to work on time, maintain attendance standards, and adhere to company time-off policies. Additional time may be required to support projects and departmental initiatives.
