Radwell International is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Precert Technician - 1 to join our growing quality assurance team on a full-time, regular basis. Radwell International is a globally recognized leader in the repair, distribution, and surplus sale of industrial automation and electronic components. As a QA Precert Technician - 1, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all products processed through our facility meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and safety before they are certified and shipped to our customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing pre-certification inspections and testing on a wide variety of industrial electronic components, PLCs, servo drives, motors, sensors, and other automation equipment. You will work closely with the quality assurance team to identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformances in products received for repair or resale. Your attention to detail and technical aptitude will be essential in maintaining Radwell Internationals reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality products to clients across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities include conducting thorough visual and functional inspections of industrial electronic components and automation equipment prior to certification. You will document inspection findings accurately using internal quality management systems and databases, flagging items that do not meet established quality standards. You will collaborate with repair technicians and quality engineers to communicate defects and ensure proper corrective actions are taken. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
You will also assist in the development and refinement of quality inspection procedures and checklists, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA department. Proper handling, labeling, and tracking of all components throughout the precertification process will be a key part of your daily responsibilities. You may also be required to operate testing equipment and tools to verify the operational status of components.
This position offers a starting salary of $18.00 per hour on an annual basis, with opportunities for growth and advancement within Radwell Internationals dynamic and supportive work environment. No per diem is associated with this role. This is a regular, at-will employment position.

Required Skills
- Ability to perform visual and functional inspections of industrial electronic components

Required Experience
- Prior experience in a quality assurance, quality control, or inspection role preferred
- Experience working with industrial electronic components or automation equipment is a plus
- Background in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or a related technical field
- Experience using quality management or inventory tracking software systems
- Hands-on experience with testing and diagnostic equipment for electronic components
- Experience documenting inspection findings and maintaining accurate quality records
- Familiarity with manufacturing or repair facility environments
- Experience following standardized inspection procedures and quality checklists
- Any experience with continuous improvement processes or lean manufacturing principles is beneficial
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or a related field preferred
