Accounting
JOB SUMMARY
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
To perform various accounting and financial analytical functions for the issuance of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal reporting / analysis to achieved company goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include a wide range of activities to provide for the recording, reconciliation and reporting of financial transactions. These include, but are not limited to:
- Month-end close reporting and reconciliation
- General Ledger account reconciliations / analysis
- Bank account reconciliations
- Financial forecasting and budgets
- Prepaid maintenance and reconciliation
- Financial and operations process audits
- Sales Tax analysis and filings
- Financial statement preparation and review
- Project analysis and reporting
- Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Audit support, internal and external
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Other tasks related to objectives of the Accounting Department as they arise.
METRICS
- Performance will be measured by tracking activities to achieve established objectives and deadlines as described and agreed to at the beginning of the assignment / project along with any agreed to revisions.
- Response to, handling of and achieving the objectives of unexpected assignments and day-to-day demands that are not identified or planned for in the normal course of operations.
- Metrics will be reported in progress reports and performance reviews.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Knowledge of accounting and GAAP
- Strong computer proficiency in MS software applications
- Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
BS in Accounting or Finance
- Three to five years in related accounting experience and/or training
- Fixed asset experience required
- International accounting experience preferred
- Knowledge of Epicor P21 a plus
- CPA desirable

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY
- Introductory Review - Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue
- Quarterly Reviews – All staff members will be evaluated on the performance of their responsibilities as described above
- Annual Reviews – All staff members will receive an annual review approximately in January of every year, which details the employee’s performance, work ethic and attitude during the year.
WORK SCHEDULE
Work hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Please refer to employee handbook for attendance exceptions and accepted time off policies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The environment is an office setting. Dress attire is casual but professional in an office setting. All employees are required to wear “Radwear” (apparel with company logo) at all times. Radwell ID Badge and access card must be worn at all times and Radwell Safety Policies must be adhered to at all times.
