Overview
This is a hands on accounting role for someone who knows how to keep financials clean, accurate, and moving. You will manage full cycle accounting activities, support the close process, reconcile key accounts, and help ensure reporting is timely and reliable. This role works across departments and plays an important part in maintaining strong financial controls, supporting audits, and helping leadership understand the numbers.
What you will do
Accounting and reporting
• Perform full cycle accounting from sales revenue through net income
• Prepare profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Create detailed reports and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Analysis and compliance
• Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to help forecast future financial performance
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls and company policies and ensuring confidentiality of financial information
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and local, state, and federal financial regulations
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
Close and reconciliation support
• Support month end and year end close processes
• Account for and reconcile consolidation of intercompany accounts
• Maintain the fixed asset register and associated depreciation schedules
Additional support
• Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned
• May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned

• Financial data is accurate, complete, and delivered on time
• Journal entries, reconciliations, and reports are prepared with strong attention to detail
• Month end and year end close activities run smoothly
• Financial reporting supports sound decision making and audit readiness
• Compliance standards and internal controls are followed consistently
What we are looking for
• Proven experience with financial reporting requirements and financial analysis
• Proficiency in accounting software and data entry
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Detail oriented
• Good communication and customer service skills
Education and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
