An exciting opportunity has become available for you to join an SA icon and provide professional assistance to our Metropolitan Adelaide members and commercial customers, who experience the inconvenience of an unexpected breakdown. This role will be ideal if you enjoy providing exceptional customer service and have good diagnostic skills to help our members get back on the road. You will: 

  • Carry out roadside repairs and diagnosis using your automotive knowledge and skills.
  • Provide appropriate member solutions while maintaining exceptional customer
  • Be prepared, focused and courteous with every customer interaction and conduct yourself in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Promote all RAA Services and Product offerings when appropriate.
  • Receive the satisfaction of providing essential road service to our community within a time of need.
  • Plus much more.

About you  

You are a confident and passionate self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high performing culture. You’re passionate about helping our community (and members) and want to make a difference.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Minimum trade level Certificate III in Automotive - Mechanical or Electrical (Mandatory)
  • Automotive industry background with a track record of exceptional customer service
  • Knowledge of vehicle operation, components, and current-day diagnostic practices with a variety of makes & models of vehicles
  • Ability to work shift work
  • Current ‘Class C’ drivers licence essential
  • Must be physically fit to work in all environments, have excellent time management skills, take pride in your work and presentation
  • Outstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be an innovative thinker with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities

We pride ourselves on ensuring our staff succeed, and as such, RAA will provide a thorough and structured training program. The role will be commencing Monday 2nd November 2026 which will include 5 weeks full-time training.
