Lead the launch and operations of two new public-facing café venues

Full-time permanent position based in Adelaide CBD
The Role
-
Leading the establishment and day-to-day operations of two public-facing café venues, overseeing setup, service delivery, and operational excellence.
-
Recruiting and leading a high-performing café team, providing coaching, performance management, and clear direction across both sites.

Overseeing menu development, supplier relationships, stock control, and operational processes to deliver high-quality service efficiently.

Managing budgets, revenue targets, and labour costs, driving cost-effective operations and working toward cost-neutral performance.

Ability and willingness to work alongside the team on the floor during busy service periods

Maintaining compliance with food safety, WHS, and regulatory requirements, fostering a strong culture of safety and operational accountability.

Monitoring customer satisfaction and product quality, addressing feedback professionally to continuously improve the café experience.
About You
-
Demonstrated experience managing a café or similar hospitality operation, with responsibility for daily operations, service delivery, and team leadership.

Strong experience managing revenue and operating expenses budgets.

Solid understanding of safe food handling practices, food safety standards, and café operational processes.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Relevant hospitality qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, Certificate IV in Frontline Management, or Barista training) will be highly regarded.
