Quality Engineer
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Engineering team on a 12-month maximum term contract. In this role, you won't just be "testing at the end"; you will be an integral part of the Sprint process, ensuring quality is baked into the product from requirements to release. In this role, you will be primarily developing and executing test procedures for a range of products and systems.
Key Responsibilities

Test Procedures: Identify test steps, write and execute procedures to ensure high-quality standards for all systems.

Agile Integration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming to provide "Testability" feedback on user stories.

Shift-Left Testing: Work closely with developers to identify bugs early in the lifecycle and assist in maintaining a high level of code coverage.

Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, performing root cause analysis to prevent regressions.

Exploratory Testing: Conduct targeted manual and exploratory testing for new and existing features.
Skills & Qualifications

Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum and the STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).

Experience with cloud-based development environments such as Azure

Strong analytical mindset and the ability to advocate for quality within a fast-paced team.

Experience with version control, bug tracking systems like JIRA, documentation systems like Confluence and test management platforms like TestRail

Experience in the Insurance/Finance industry will be highly regarded
-
Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium is a plus
