Join South Australia’s iconic RAA as we grow our new Adelaide Metro Tow Fleet, helping us deliver a better experience for our members when they need a tow. This role will see you be responsible for safely and efficiently loading, transporting, and unloading vehicles. In addition, you will:
- Use safe towing practices to recover and transport vehicles in compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide exceptional service and prompt solutions to our members with courtesy and professionalism.
- Proactively manage tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate effectively with operational staff to expedite service delivery.
- Stay updated with industry skills to offer the best solutions.
- Build strong professional relationships, embodying RAA corporate values and ethics.

About you
You are a mechanically minded, diligent, reliable, confident and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high performing culture. You’re passionate about helping our community (and members) and want to make a difference. Successful candidates must possess a strong work ethic and commitment to workplace health and safety.
For this role, we’re also looking for:
- A current South Australian Medium or Heavy Rigid truck licence.
- Physically fit to work in all environments
- Flexibility to work on a Shift work, 7-day rotating roster (including Weekends) for shifts between 6:00am – 11:00pm
- Current unencumbered South Australian ‘C-class’ driver's licence
- Eligibility to obtain a South Australian Tow Operators Certificate
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders
- Outstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be an innovative thinker with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
We pride ourselves on ensuring our staff succeed, and as such, RAA will provide a thorough and structured training program. The role will be commencing Monday 13th April 2026 which will include 5 weeks full-time training.
Physical Requirements & Medical Assessment
This role involves physical tasks that are essential to its successful performance. Candidates must be capable of meeting these requirements. As part of the recruitment process, a pre-employment medical assessment will be conducted to confirm your ability to safely perform the inherent duties of this role
You'll need to provide evidence of your eligibility to work in Australia and we'll also need you to undertake a police check and Pre Employment Medical Assessment before you can work with us at RAA.
