At RAA, we’re on a significant transformation journey — and we’re looking for an experienced Manager Value Management Office to help drive disciplined portfolio delivery, value realisation, and support executive decision-making across our transformation programs and projects.
This role plays a critical part in managing RAA’s transformation portfolio by leading portfolio prioritisation, value tracking, benefits management, investment governance, and quarterly business review (QBR) reporting. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Business Units to ensure our investments deliver measurable value and remain aligned to strategy.
What you’ll be doing
Portfolio Management & Governance
- Manage quarterly prioritisation, initiative backlog management, investment drawdowns, capacity planning, and dependency tracking.
- Monitor portfolio performance against strategic objectives and escalate risks or issues as required.
Benefits Management & Value Tracking
- Manage benefits management and value realisation across the transformation portfolio.
- Coordinate benefits tracking, quarterly reporting, and post-implementation reviews, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
- Lead end-to-end QBR coordination, consolidating inputs into clear, executive-ready portfolio insights.
- Track governance decisions and actions to ensure timely follow-through.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships across Business Units, Technology, Finance, and delivery teams.
- Act as a key point of contact for portfolio processes, governance standards, and executive reporting support.
Reporting & Analysis
- Develop portfolio dashboards and reports, providing insights into performance, financials, and benefits delivery.
- Conduct analysis to identify trends, risks, and optimisation opportunities, ensuring data integrity.
What you’ll bring
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Strategy, Project Management, or a related field (mandatory).
- Portfolio, Program, or Business Analysis certification (e.g. PfMP, PgMP, PMI-PBA) is desirable.
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years’ experience in portfolio management, program/project management, business analysis, or similar roles.
- Experience identifying and tracking the delivery of value through the execution of strategic initiatives.
- Proven experience supporting transformation portfolios in complex, matrixed environments.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful insights.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology domains.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with portfolio tools and BI platforms such as Power BI.
- Experience supporting governance forums, investment committees, and executive reporting.
- Background in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries is highly regarded.
