Your new opportunity:
Join an established Corporate Governance team in a newly created role to support the RAA Board of Directors, Company Secretary and Executive Leadership Team with the conduct of Board and Committee meetings and helping deliver annual governance processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage Board, Committee and Executive Leadership processes, including preparing and distributing meeting documentation, taking minutes and meeting attendance and apologies.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders including Directors and Executives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance through maintaining corporate files and lodging ASIC filings.
- Assist with supporting the review, development and implementation of charters and corporate governance frameworks, policies and processes.
- Provide support for the delivery of annual governance processes including general meetings and annual reporting.
- Provide support for the delivery and management of RAA’s corporate insurance program.
- Manage the corporate calendar and handling of correspondence.
- Manage the relationship with, and administration of, RAA’s Board Portal.

About You:
You are a confident and passionate self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high performing culture. You’re passionate about helping our community (and members) and want to make a difference.
For this role, we’re looking for:
- Corporate governance qualification (AICD, GIA) or undergraduate degree in Law (desirable).
- Knowledge of corporate law and governance principles obtained from experience gained in a corporate governance or assistant company secretary role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Time management and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
