As a member of our Facilities Team, you will play an important role maintaining the high standards of our Mile End Head Quarters and contributing to new projects that improve the look and feel of our facilities. You will have lots of variety in your day-to-day work performing general maintenance and caretaking tasks ensuring the upkeep and operational functionality of RAA premises and retail locations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform groundskeeping duties, including gardening, sweeping, and cleaning of external areas.
- Set up meeting and training rooms, breakout areas, and ensure timely delivery of consumables based on client requirements.
- Apply general handyman skills to perform a variety of maintenance tasks in line with established service standards.
- Use facilities and contractor management software systems to coordinate work, schedule tasks, and update task statuses in real time.
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus while achieving corporate objectives and adhering to all relevant legislation, guidelines, work practices, and RAA quality standards.
About You:
You love good conversation, establish friendly relationships, are adaptable and flexible and take great pride in your work together with:
- Current drivers’ licence (mandatory)
- Forklift licence (desired)
- Trade Qualification (desired)
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Good interpersonal skills to operate as a pro-active member of a small core team
- Microsoft Office and computing skills
- Pass a pre-employment Physical Capability Assessment and have a strong understanding of safe manual handling practices
