If so, RAA is looking for a Senior Service Designer to lead and deliver  transformative service design initiatives that make a measurable impact on our members and organisation.

 

About the Role

As a Senior Service Designer, you will:

  • Lead and manage the design of complex, cross-functional digital service experiences.
  • Shape and scale human-centred practices across teams, embedding design thinking into business strategy.
  • Drive transformation by applying systems thinking, connecting digital, physical, and operational touchpoints.
  • Influence stakeholder decisions, ensuring alignment with RAA’s strategic goals through insight-driven design recommendations.
  • Mentor and uplift service design practitioners, embedding best practices across enterprise-wide programs.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across RAA, tackling varied and challenging programs of work

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in service design or experience strategy, with a track record of leading design for major programs.
  • Proven ability to map complex service ecosystems and influence stakeholders through evidence-based recommendations.
  • Strong leadership skills, guiding teams and fostering service design maturity across an organisation.
  • Expertise in design thinking, Agile methodologies, and integrating service design into enterprise environments.

This role is Adelaide-based, and applicants must be available to work on-site as required. While we appreciate interest from across Australia, please note that remote work is not an option for this position.
